Privacy Policy

The short version
We collect the minimum needed to give you your result: your quiz answers, and: only if you pay by card: your email. We never send newsletters, never sell data, and never run advertising trackers. Pay with Bitcoin Lightning and we don't collect your email at all.
What we collect and why (GDPR Art. 6)
Quiz answers and results: to compute and re-compute your matches (performance of contract). Email address (card payments only): to link your payment to your result and allow your 20 included retakes (performance of contract). Payment references - transaction IDs from our payment providers, never card numbers (legal obligation & contract). Basic technical logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider for security (legitimate interest).
What we do NOT do
No newsletter. No marketing emails. No sale or sharing of personal data. No advertising or cross-site tracking. No profiling beyond computing the result you paid for. We use no non-essential cookies and no third-party scripts at all: only functional browser storage to keep your quiz session working, which is why you are not asked to accept anything. Exactly what we store in your browser
The full list, so you can check it yourself in your browser's developer tools. There is nothing else, and nothing from anyone else.

None of these require your consent under the ePrivacy Directive (Art. 5(3)): they are either strictly necessary to deliver what you asked for, or they remember a preference you set yourself. That is also why you are not asked to click through a consent wall: there is nothing here to consent to. Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and the site keeps working: you just pick your language and currency again.
Processors we rely on
Vercel (hosting), Supabase (database, EU region), Stripe (card payments), Speed (Bitcoin payments), Unsplash & Pexels (place photos, no personal data shared). Each processes data under their own GDPR-compliant terms.
Retention
Quiz sessions without payment are deleted after 12 months. Paid sessions are kept so your result and retakes keep working, plus what tax law requires for payment records. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights (GDPR Art. 15-22)
You can request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your data, and you may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Write to findarcadia@proton.me : we answer within 30 days. If you paid with Bitcoin we hold no identity data about you at all; deletion requests need your result URL as proof.
